[dropcap]N[/dropcap]igerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has shared his approval of the Super Eagles’ preparations ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda.

The singer expressed his satisfaction with the team’s energy and focus, following a training session led by new head coach Eric Chelle.
On Wednesday, Wizkid took to his X handle to express his admiration for the revamped Super Eagles squad.
“New Super Eagles team! [I] love the energy,” he tweeted, showing his support for the players and their readiness for the upcoming qualifier.
The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 21, at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda, with a kick-off time of 5 PM Nigerian time.
This is the first of two crucial World Cup qualifying fixtures, with the Super Eagles hoping to secure all three points against Rwanda.
After the Rwanda game, Nigeria will return home to face Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25. The Super Eagles are determined to win both matches to keep their 2026 World Cup hopes alive, with the stakes high as they look to maintain their path to qualification.
