WIMCA 2025

Women in marketing Nigeria are to gather at WIMCA 2025 on October 18 at Landmark Centre, Lagos, to celebrate excellence and elevate industry standards

The Women in Marketing and Communications Awards (WIMCA) will take centre stage on October 18, 2025 at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos for its highly anticipated annual event.

Now in its latest edition, WIMCA has become the largest convergence of female professionals in marketing and communications across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Attracting over 700 participants annually, the event is a key platform for industry networking, professional development, and celebrating women’s achievements in the sector.

This year’s theme, “Bloom, Boom, Zoom: The Pursuit of Excellence,” sets the tone for a forward-thinking conference.

According to Joshua Ajayi, convener of WIMCA and publisher of Brand Communicator, the theme represents a woman’s journey from early career growth to explosive visibility and sustained success.

“This year’s WIMCA is special because we are connecting the dots from a blooming career to the explosive stage when she is set to zoom to the next level. No woman in the industry should miss it,” Ajayi stated.

WIMCA 2025 is set to be a full-day experience, featuring exhibitions, keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and a high-profile awards ceremony.

The event offers an engaging mix of education, inspiration, and practical takeaways, all focused on helping women navigate and lead in an evolving marketing landscape.

The awards segment will recognise outstanding women who have made remarkable contributions to the marketing and communications industry in Nigeria.

It also serves as a moment to highlight rising talents and celebrate enduring leadership.

The conference will tackle critical issues facing women in marketing, from career progression and work-life integration to strategic leadership and digital transformation.

With a line-up of experienced speakers and thought leaders, WIMCA aims to offer real-world solutions and foster deeper inclusion within the industry.

Organised by Brand Communicator, one of West Africa’s leading marketing publications, WIMCA continues to set a high benchmark for gender-focused industry events on the continent.
