As the country heats up, many Nigerians are beginning to voice out in frustration against the treatments being melted out to #EndSARS protesters, especially in Lagos.
Recall that the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has imposed a 24hr curfew in the state, which started by 4pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2020. This was allegedly shifted to 9pm, the same day.
While the protesters remained adamant at the now iconic Lekki Tollgate, reports reaching Freelanews have claimed that shots were being fired at the protesters and the number of causalities were yet to be ascertained as at the time of filling this report.
As expected, Nigerians have reacted to the shootings and one of them was a journalist and the popular filmmaker, Samuel Olatunji, fondly called Big Sam.
Big Sam posted a video of shooting on his Instagram handle and called on the state governor to halt the ‘killer moves’.
