The Senior Special Assistant to Kano state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Youth Development, Murtala Gwarmai as part of ways to empower the youth in the state has distributed donkeys and other items.
He reportedly shared these items on the premises of the state’s Ministry of Youth and Sports on November 12. Other items he shared include motorcycles, bicycles, cash prizes worth N100,000, building blocks and roofing sheets.
Speaking on why he included donkeys in the items, he indicated that it was requested by one of the beneficiaries who use the donkey as a means of transport.
Those present for the ceremony included the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, and Senior Special Assistant on Youth II, Ibrahim Ahmad.
