Since launching OFM’s ‘Free Food Restaurant’ in March 2022, the initiative has grown beyond expectations, feeding over 2,000 people daily in Auchi, Edo State.
The restaurant, opened to mark Suleman’s 52nd birthday, was established to provide relief in response to Nigeria’s worsening economic crisis.
Initially serving 1,000 meals daily, it now caters to twice that number, offering free meals to the underprivileged, regardless of their religion or background.
Apostle Suleman has described the project as a form of evangelism, stating, “We will continue to support families through this free feeding programme. It is what God wishes me to do.”
His direct involvement, serving food personally to beneficiaries, reflects his commitment to helping those in need.
With nearly 65% of Nigeria’s population facing hunger due to skyrocketing food prices, the Free Food Restaurant has become a lifeline for many, including non-members of OFM.
Apostle Suleman’s initiative continues to provide relief in a country grappling with its worst economic crisis in decades.
