‘Guilty of goals’ French clubs declare Nigerian star wanted

French clubside, Brest FC and Dutch division one side, Willem II are a few of the clubs chasing the signature of Nigerian star, Savior Godwin.

Godwin who presently plys his trade in Belgium 2nd division club, ksv Roeselare has one year left on his contract.

In an interview with KuliKuli football, the players agent who spoke on the basis anonymity said lots of clubs are after the young midfielder.

‘many clubs have made enquiry about him. Some from Belgian league 1, Kvk Kortrijk, Royal Excel Mouscron. Some from France and Netherlands but only Brest and Willem II have shown serious interests.’

The 23 year old has played 114 times for Roeselare scoring 23 times with 10 of the 23 coming in 27 games this season.

The Jos born has represented Nigeria at U-17 and U-20 levels and was also included in the 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
