Controversial Nigerian singer, Okikiola Badmus, known as Portable, has been granted bail in the sum of ₦1 million by an Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State.

This decision follows his arraignment on charges of criminal defamation, intimidation, inciting public disturbance, and cyberstalking.
The court’s ruling stipulates that Portable’s bail is contingent upon providing two sureties, each with a ₦1 million bond.
One surety must be either the Chairman or Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), and the other must possess a landed property within a Government Reserved Area, accompanied by a valid Certificate of Occupancy.
Portable, who hails from Oke-Osa, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, is required to meet these bail conditions before he can be released from custody.
The court has adjourned the case, with the trial judge urging all parties involved to maintain decorum throughout the proceedings.
