APC slams Rhodes-Vivour

APC slams Rhodes-Vivour for defecting to ADC, calling him a political opportunist with no direction or loyalty, following multiple party switches

APC slams Rhodes-Vivour in the wake of his defection to the African Democratic Congress, describing him as a serial political opportunist with no ideology or consistent vision.

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress issued a scathing response on Tuesday, accusing the 2023 Labour Party governorship candidate of lacking political discipline and betraying every platform he touches.

Party spokesman Seye Oladejo said Rhodes-Vivour’s move to the ADC was yet another chapter in what he called a “political scavenger hunt,” referencing his earlier affiliations with the Kowa Party, PDP, and Labour Party.

“Each move leaves behind chaos and betrayal,” Oladejo said. “Rhodes-Vivour is not building a political career. He is on a quest to exploit every party that gives him a microphone.”

The statement painted the former LP candidate as someone obsessed with power but unwilling to put in the work or show loyalty to any ideology.

“His politics has no direction, no consistency, and no integrity—only a thirst for visibility,” Oladejo added.

The remarks reflect a broader political narrative as Lagos gears up for the 2027 elections, with the APC warning voters against trusting candidates who, in their words, “change costumes every season.”

The party dismissed concerns over Rhodes-Vivour’s departure from LP, suggesting his political journey lacks real impact and staying power.

As the political atmosphere intensifies, APC slams Rhodes-Vivour not just for his defection, but for what they describe as an unserious approach to leadership in a state they say demands continuity, not chaos.
