The event, held in honour of Oloflix boss High Chief Olusola Obio, drew a star-studded crowd, including Nollywood powerhouses Saidi Balogun, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Yomi Fash Lanso, Jaiye Kuti, and Femi Branch.
Initially, Eedris appeared to snub veteran actor Saidi Balogun, a known ally of President Bola Tinubu and a member of the Governing Council of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
Balogun chairs the Physical Development and Project Monitoring Committee.
The atmosphere shifted when Eedris took the stage to perform fan favourites from his ‘Remedies’ era.
Midway, he addressed Balogun directly, explaining the deliberate cold shoulder and commending the actor’s unwavering loyalty to the Tinubu administration.
“Balogun, you see me dey do like say I no see you? Na intentional. I need to get your attention for this very important national assignment,” Eedris declared, creating a moment of stunned silence among guests.
Through Balogun, the rapper delivered a pointed message to President Tinubu, urging urgent action to address insecurity in Nigeria.
Eedris warned that any failure to convey the message would amount to foul play, using the Yoruba term ‘ojoro’.
Despite the intensity, the organisers quickly restored the celebratory mood, preventing the gathering from escalating into a full political forum.

Nonetheless, Eedris’ message is expected to resonate far beyond the party’s walls.
