Portable-Sadiaboj WhatsApp dispute goes public after chat leak, igniting fan debate over collaboration and social media conduct

On Monday, December 16, 2025, Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and social media influencer Sadiaboj engaged in a public dispute over a potential music collaboration, drawing significant attention across social media platforms.

According to sources, Sadiaboj requested that Portable feature in her latest song. Portable initially quoted ₦10 million for the collaboration.

Sadiaboj pleaded for a reduction, addressing Portable as “big man” and emphasising her own status as a star in her field.

Portable lowered the fee to ₦8 million, but Sadiaboj remained dissatisfied with the arrangement.

The disagreement escalated when Portable shared screenshots of their WhatsApp conversation on TikTok, prompting Sadiaboj to announce that she would unfollow him on Instagram.

Notably, Portable had initially followed Sadiaboj first, making her decision to sever the digital connection a subject of discussion among fans.

This incident is the latest in a series of tensions between the two personalities, who reportedly had previous disputes.

Online observers have highlighted the story as a cautionary example of the challenges in celebrity collaborations and the impact of social media disclosure on professional relationships.
