King Mitchy death rumour dismissed as Prime Care Hospital confirms the influencer was never admitted or treated at its Abuja facility

Prime Care Hospital in Abuja has firmly denied online reports claiming that social media personality and content creator Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, died at its medical facility, describing the viral claims as false and misleading.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the hospital management clarified that Mukoro Mitchelle was neither admitted nor treated at the institution and that no medical records exist linking the influencer to its services.

The clarification follows intense online speculation sparked by social media posts alleging that King Mitchy died after reportedly consuming a harmful substance and receiving treatment in Abuja.

The King Mitchy death rumour gained rapid traction across digital platforms, generating widespread confusion and concern among followers.

Prime Care Hospital stated that the narrative was circulated without verification and warned that the spread of unconfirmed information could cause unnecessary panic and reputational harm to individuals and institutions.

Hospital authorities urged bloggers, influencers and members of the public to verify sensitive claims through credible sources before publication or reposting, stressing the importance of responsible digital communication.

Management further disclosed that steps were being taken in collaboration with relevant authorities to identify the origin of the misinformation, adding that legal action may be considered against those responsible for disseminating the false report.

The controversy emerged amid a heated online dispute involving King Mitchy and social commentator VeryDarkMan, which had intensified public attention prior to the circulation of the claims.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no independent confirmation regarding Mukoro Mitchelle’s medical condition from any official source, while the hospital maintained that the circulating reports should be disregarded.
