Tinubu APC Rivers primary victory confirmed after president secured 280,082 votes in the party’s presidential exercise
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious in the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress held in Rivers ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to the official results announced on Saturday, Bola Tinubu secured 280,082 votes, while his rival, Stanley Osifo, recorded zero votes.
The results of the Tinubu APC Rivers primary were announced by Siminalayi Fubara, who served as the Returning Officer and State Collation Officer for the exercise.
Speaking after receiving results from all 23 local government areas of the state, Siminalayi Fubara confirmed that the total number of accredited votes cast stood at 280,082.
“His Excellency Bola Tinubu scored a total vote of 280,082. The other contestant, Mr Stanley, scored zero,” he stated.
The Rivers governor further certified the results as accurate and said the outcome would be transmitted to Abuja as part of the nationwide collation process.
“I, Siminalayi Fubara, who is serving as State Collation Officer, hereby certify that the information contained in my spreadsheets in this form represent the true, correct and accurate record of the summary of results from the 23 local government areas,” he said.
The APC presidential primary forms part of the party’s nationwide internal electoral process aimed at producing its candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
The Tinubu APC Rivers primary result adds to a growing list of state-level victories recorded by the incumbent president as the ruling party concludes ward and state congresses across the country.
