Dr Kehinde Abiodun is a dedicated Rotarian and transport operations professional whose Rotary journey spans more than 12 years of service across club and district leadership, international service, polio eradication advocacy, youth development and humanitarian engagement.

He joined Rotary in 2014 through the Rotary Club of Chingford, District 1130, London, United Kingdom, where he remained a member until 2025. On 1 July 2025, he joined the Rotary Club of Stratford, continuing a Rotary journey driven by his belief that service is most impactful when passion, humanity and personality are brought together for the common good.

With the classification Transport Operations, Abiodun has held several leadership and service positions within Rotary District 1130. He currently serves as District International Service Committee Chair (2025–2028) and District PolioPlus Subcommittee Chair (2025–2027).

His previous district responsibilities include serving as Assistant Governor from 2019 to 2022, a member of the District Choir from 2019 to 2021, and a London Peace Envoy from 2019 to 2022.

At the Rotary Club of Chingford, he served extensively in leadership and administrative capacities. He was Membership Chair from 2020 to 2025, Webmaster from 2017 to 2025, Chair of the Board of Trustees from 2018 to 2025, and Voting Delegate from 2015 to 2025. Earlier in his Rotary journey, he served as Youth Chair from 2015 to 2016.

Following his move to the Rotary Club of Stratford in 2025, Abiodun continues to deepen his international service commitment and is serving as the club’s International Service Chair for the 2026–2027 Rotary year.

His passion for Rotary extends beyond the United Kingdom to Nigeria. Since 2025, he has served as an End Polio Now Ambassador for the Rotaract Club of Ikorodu Golden, Rotary International District 9112, Lagos, Nigeria.

His contribution to Rotary’s humanitarian mission has earned him several recognitions.

In 2026, he received an Award of Excellence for his contributions towards the eradication of polio and advancement of Rotary’s humanitarian mission. He also received an Award of Recognition for Extraordinary Selfless Service and Support to the Rotaract Club of Ikorodu Golden and for his commitment to humanitarian and community development.

A Paul Harris Fellow, an honour he attained during the 2020–2021 Rotary year, Abiodun continues to support The Rotary Foundation. His Foundation record includes Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) eligibility and giving for the 2026–2027 Rotary year.

Beyond Rotary, Abiodun received an honorary doctorate in Leadership (honoris causa) in 2026, recognising his leadership and service contributions.

For Abiodun, however, Rotary is much more than positions, titles and recognitions. It is an expression of identity, purpose and a deeply held conviction that doing good can be both meaningful and joyful.

“For more than 12 years, Rotary has been my tribe, my purpose and my passion. I believe changing the world doesn’t have to be boring; it can be bold, bright and bursting with personality.

“Service is powerful, but when you add heart, humour and humanity, that’s magic. I’ve seen what happens when people come together and witnessed Rotary’s real impact time and time again.

“I get to use my time, my voice, my energy and even my loud Rotary suit to inspire others to see just how good doing good can feel.

“Rotary isn’t just something I do; it’s part of who I am. I love Rotary. I’m a Rotarian because this is where passion meets purpose, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

That philosophy has defined Abiodun’s Rotary journey; service delivered with passion, leadership strengthened by humanity, and a firm belief that doing good should inspire others to do the same.
