LG Electronics has been named “Best Brand of IFA 2026”, receiving the highest brand honour at the IFA Innovation Awards for its performance across technology, design and consumer impact.
The recognition came during the second edition of the IFA Innovation Awards, held alongside IFA 2026 in Berlin, where LG also secured several product-level honours for its latest television and audio technologies.
Among the company’s major wins was the LG OLED evo W6 AI Wallpaper TV, which received the Best in Home & Entertainment award. The television was recognised for its ultra-slim design, wireless connectivity and picture technology powered by LG’s Hyper Radiant Color Technology.
LG’s Modular Sound Suite also received the Best in Audio award for its flexible home audio system, which incorporates Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to allow compatible speakers and subwoofers to be arranged more freely around the television.
The OLED evo W6 is designed around LG’s Wallpaper TV concept, with the company stating that the panel measures approximately 9.95 millimetres under its specified measurement conditions. Its True Wireless connectivity is designed to reduce cable clutter while maintaining high-quality audio and video transmission.
Beyond the two category awards, five other LG products were recognised as IFA Innovation Award Honorees. They included the LG xboom Stage 501, LG OLED evo G6, LG Micro RGB TV, LG Mini RGB TV and LG StanbyME 2 Max.
IFA described the Innovation Awards as recognising leading ideas across consumer technology and home appliances, with three major “Master Awards” covering Best of IFA, Best of Tech and Best Brand.
LG’s Best Brand recognition is assessed at the overall brand level rather than for a single product, taking into account factors including technological innovation, market impact and design.
The recognition adds to LG’s presence at this year’s IFA, where its television, audio and other home technology products featured prominently among the award winners and honourees.
LG Electronics said the recognition reflects its continued focus on developing technology and design aimed at improving the consumer entertainment experience.
