The 70-year-old former governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, died on June 25, 2020 at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma following Coronavirus complications.
He was buried June 28, 2020 at at his Oluyole country home amid tight security from the Oluyole main road to the Yemoja street residence of the late former governor.
Special fidau prayers were organised for the late governor who sat on Oyo State’s affairs for 8years.
