Musiliu ‘MC Oluomo’ Akinsanya, the chairman of the Lagos state parks management committee, has gifted Ebun Oloyede, the Nollywood actor, a Mercedes Benz.
In a video shared on Instastory by King West, Oluomo’s son, the road transport executive is seen handing over the keys to the Mercedes-Benz GLK SUV to the actor.
Upon receiving the car keys, the seemingly excited actor — also known as Olaiya Igwe — ran after MC Oluomo, while prostrating and rolling on the floor, to show his gratitude.
“My dad surprised actor Olaiya Igwe with a brand new Benz. It’s actually good to be good. When you’re loyal, you’ll always get what belongs to you,” King West wrote.
Oluomo has also been in the news on different occasions since he became the Lagos chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
Last year, he became an honorary member of the Institute of Corporate Public Sector Professionals (ICPSP).
In March, the national leadership of the NURTW suspended Akinsanya over alleged misconduct, insubordination, and incitement.

Oloyede, on the other hand, has established a name for himself in the Yoruba movie industry since his venture into the craft in the 1900s.
The actor has since then featured in hundreds of Nollywood movies.
