Divorce, as we all know is the act by which a valid marriage is dissolved, usually freeing the parties to remarry. Infidelity, arguing, infertility, and lack of commitment are some of the top reasons for divorce in most countries. There’s usually more than one cause of divorce, though. Most divorce reasons are preventable, though, when both partners are in love and willing to spend time and energy in solving the differences
Note that the principles of individual determination and mutual consent are making divorce increasingly acceptable in industrialized parts of the world and today we will be looking at countries with the highest rate of divorce.
According to statistics released by the World of Statistics, India has the lowest divorce rate in the World.
India has just one percent, 1% divorce rate, followed by Vietnam at seven percent, 7%, and Iran at fourteen percent, 14%
However, Portugal tops the list of countries with the highest number of divorce cases followed by Spain, Luxembourg, and Russia.
Egypt and South Africa are the only African countries mentioned in the study with both countries on 17 percent, and 17% rates respectively.
