The National Deputy Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria and Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has reacted to the death of APC Senator, Bayo Osinowo, fondly called Pepperito, who died yesterday.

In a press statement signed by her, she described his death as a rude shock and a big loss to Nigeria, Lagos state and the All Progressive Congress in general.

She, however, extended her condolences to top APC leaders, his immediate family and the deceased political allies.

“I deeply commiserate with the President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, senate president, Senator Ahmad Lawan, and speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and the good people of Lagos State.

“I also wish to express my hearty sincere condolences to the family and friends of Senator Sikiru Adebayo ‘Shehu’ Osinowo,( a.k.a. PEPPERITO) member representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the Senate.

“Our distinguished and quintessential leader per excellence’s untimely passage came as a rude shock. I know we shall all miss him greatly and his insightful contributions in Lagos East, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.

“I pray we all find solace in the memory of the deep love, compassion and contributions to the lives of people around him while he was alive.

“I pray that his soul rests in perfect peace and that the good Lord comforts and strengthens his family to bear the loss,” Hon. Princess Olabanji-Oba said.

She prayed Allah forgives him and admits him into Aljannatul Firdaus, comfort his family and associates in these very challenging times.
