The real estate magnate visits Ooni of Ife on his 50th birthday, reaffirming Adron Group’s commitment to preserving Yoruba culture and traditions
[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n a grand gesture of cultural pride and respect, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, Chairman and CEO of Adron Group, visited His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi Eniitan, the Ooni of Ife, on Sunday, 20th October 2024, to celebrate the monarch’s 50th birthday.

Accompanied by Mrs Adenike Ajobo, Managing Director of Adron Group, and key members of the company’s management team, Aare Emmanuelking’s visit highlighted his steadfast commitment to promoting Yoruba culture and traditions.
The visit took place at the Ooni’s historic palace in Ile-Ife, a city regarded as the cradle of Yoruba civilisation.
During the visit, Aare Emmanuelking, known for his advocacy of cultural heritage, praised the Ooni for his pivotal role in uniting and uplifting the Yoruba people.
The visit reinforced the strong relationship between Adron Group and traditional rulers across Nigeria and reflected the company’s dedication to both cultural preservation and community development.
Speaking during the visit, Aare Emmanuelking stressed the importance of maintaining and promoting the customs that define the Yoruba people, while also fostering meaningful relationships with traditional rulers and local communities.
He emphasised that these relationships are key to sustaining national unity and supporting development efforts.
“A nation’s growth is deeply tied to its cultural roots. The Yoruba culture, and indeed all Nigerian traditions, form the bedrock of our values and identity. We at Adron Homes are proud to be associated with these values and are committed to ensuring that they are passed down to future generations,” Aare Emmanuelking stated.
As a show of reverence, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking offered his heartfelt prayers to the Ooni, saying, “May His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi Eniitan, continue to reign in wisdom, peace, and prosperity. As the custodian of our cherished traditions and a beacon of hope for our people, we pray for long life, good health, and enduring success for His Majesty. Long live the King, long live the Ooni of Ife.”
In response, the Ooni of Ife expressed his gratitude for the visit and praised Adron Group’s ongoing support of traditional institutions and community development.
