Abeokuta North Chairman Dr Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo donates patrol bikes to Amotekun Corps, enhancing security and rapid response in the area
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening community security with the donation of patrol bikes to the Ogun State Amotekun Corps, Abeokuta North division.

The handover took place during his official visit to the corps’ office, underscoring the local government’s proactive approach to safeguarding lives and property.
Dr Oyegbola-Sodipo stressed the importance of equipping local security agencies with the necessary tools to enhance their efficiency.
He noted that the newly donated patrol bikes would enable officers to navigate difficult terrains and respond swiftly to security challenges across the local government area.
“The safety of our people remains a top priority for this administration,” the chairman stated.

In response, representatives of the Amotekun Corps expressed gratitude for the donation, assuring the chairman and the community that the patrol bikes would be put to effective use.
They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order, highlighting how the support from the local government would enhance their patrols and rapid response operations.
The chairman also called on residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely information that could help prevent criminal activities.
