Actress Bukky Amos-Bello set for father’s grand funeral reception

Bukky Amos-Bello funeral reception for her late father to take place in Ibadan this December, promising a grand tribute filled with love, music and memories

Friends, colleagues and family members are gearing up to honour the United States based Nollywood actress and businesswoman, Arewa Bukky Amos-Bello, as she prepares to organize a benefiting funeral reception for her late father, Pa Amos Olaniyi Folorunsho Oladapo.

Although Pa Oladapo passed at a ripe age, anyone who is well-versed with Bukky’s narratives will know she holds her father in the highest esteem, cherishing the profound impact he had on her life.

The patriarch’s passing, obviously, left Bukky heartbroken and almost inconsolable. “It hurts,” she constantly echoes her emotion since her father’s demise on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Her emotional pain is noticeable when she posts on her social media pages in his memory.

Still grappling with the loss, Bukky says she’s resolved to honour her father’s memory with a farewell that would be nothing short of spectacular; a grandiose, unforgettable tribute that would make him beam with pride in the great beyond.

As she is set to move to Nigeria in December, the Ibadan family house promises to be abuzz as she throws a fitting bash in homage to a man she says remains even in death, the epitome of love and guidance to her.

The event, we gathered, will witness the attendance of who-is-who in the social and entertainment arena.
