A Tiktok content creator and part-time actress, simply known as Omosalewa, has made shocking revelations about the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, especially the Yoruba genre.

Recall that many veteran practitioners were recently seen on social media begging for assistance, while wealthy actresses and Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN) led by Bolaji Amusan, fondly known as Mr. Latin, were accused of abandoning their less fortunate colleagues.

In a video that has gone viral on the social media platform, Omosalewa stated that the alleged wealthy actresses’ refusal to assist is as a result of several issues, which included obtaining sex from them in past through coercion.

She explained that when these actresses were hoping for a shot in the industry, most of these men insisted on sleeping with them.

“Let me tell you, TAMPAN is not a co-operative nor where members contribute tokens as retirement plan.

“Aside from Pariolodo, who has been acting before I was born and had paid his dues in the movie industry, I have no pity for any of those other veteran actors seeking for assistance at all.

“Maybe they need to be more hardworking because they’re still in the habit of sleeping with young girls whenever they’re on movie locations.

“I was insulted and my account reported when I said theatre is not a money making venture, that the practitioners don’t become wealthy acting in movies, except for few.

“All those ladies you see making it big in the industry can not help because these men had been paid upfront with sex during the time these same girls were struggling to be stars.

“These men would insist on sleeping with them as neophytes in the industry, claiming that they wouldn’t be reachable again once they become popular. Besides, if any of these girls should start developing feelings after sleeping with them, these men pimped them for rich men outside the industry in exchange for sponsorship or production fund.”

She, however, said that most of these co-called wealthy ladies too are living fake life, while their men counterparts are into fraud.

“Those girls you see are fake. I know one of them who took money from co-operative to buy (Toyota) Venza, just for show off! How can you borrow money from a co-operative society to buy a Venza, when you don’t have any business to support repayment, except jumping from one man to the other?

“Mind you, men have also joined them in this fake life of a thing. One of them was recently alleged to have acquired a filling station, and while you were busy congratulating him, he almost lost the opportunity because the fuel station was gotten on lease.

“The real owner accused him of trying to take over his property by claiming that he bought it. This actor begged before the business was released back to him,” she said.

Recall that an actor, Soji Taiwo aka Omo Banke, was recently hyped for becoming the latest celebrity to own a filling station. Taking to his official Instagram page, the movie star shared a photo of his new investment with his many fans and colleagues.

“The reason I hate TAMPAN is because the association renders no assistance to its members and yet, they would insist on collecting all forms of money when members produce movies.

“After collecting huge amount of money from members, they will leave these works at the mercy of marketers. Instead of coming to their aid when these Sherlock marketers descend on them, the so called elders in the association would be the same people cutting deals against their members with the marketers behind closed doors,” she alleged.
