A famous investigative journalist, Fisayo Soyombo, has revealed that after 19 months of investigation, he was finally able to acquire a baby from a criminal syndicate in Nigeria.
In a yet-to-be-released documentary titled “Arrow of God,” Soyombo claimed that he bought his baby for two million naira (N2 million).

While sharing a snippet of the investigation on X (formerly Twitter), the journalist also revealed that the agency saddled with the responsibility to fight against human trafficking in Nigeria, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), is not interested in fighting the crime.
“In December 2021, I received a tip-off that ‘some people’ were selling babies.
“After spending the following 19 months tracking them, I bought my own baby from them last month—for N2 million.
“Find out who they are on @fijnigeria tomorrow (multimedia story) and on Friday (documentary),” he wrote with #ArrowsOfGod.
