Airtel and Ogilvy Africa, who once worked in sync to shape the voice and identity of Airtel across 14 African markets, are now charting different paths.

Though the split comes quietly, without specifics disclosed, the farewell has been amicable.

Ogilvy Africa described the journey as one marked by learning, resilience, and innovation in a LinkedIn post.

From assembling teams across disciplines to developing a bespoke operating model for the region’s demands, the agency acknowledged the contributions of those who brought Airtel’s vision to life.

We’ll cheer for your success, as we’re sure you’ll cheer for ours.

In its farewell message, Ogilvy Africa saluted every team member involved, emphasizing their contributions to various campaigns across different countries.

The agency expressed pride in the integrity and transparency that defined the partnership, especially in challenging markets.

As their long-standing relationship concludes, both parties express gratitude and offer well-wishes.

In Ogilvy’s words, “We’ll cheer for your success, as we’re sure you’ll cheer for ours.”
