Recently, the Mayegun of Yorubaland, Wasiu Omogbolahan Ayinde Marshal, fondly called K1 De Ultimate, had a chit-chat with pressmen, where he gave exposé on several issues generating heated discussion about him in the media.
The Oluaye of Fuji spoke about the second term of election of the Lagos State governor, 2023 election as related to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bobrisky and many more in an interesting one hour session.
Ayinde Marshal was born on March 3, 1957 and he popularised a brand of the Fuji genre based on the work of its creator, Ayinde Barrister, known as Talazo Fuji that appeals to all age groups, irrespective of tribe and background.

K1 De Ultimate discovered his interest in music when he was 8. According to Wikipedia records on the Fuji czar, his parents initially opposed but he continued to pursue his passion and by the time he was 15, he had won various local musical competitions.
He served on on Ayinde Barrister’s band between 1975 to 1978, adopted his name ‘Ayinde’ after seeking the permission and released his first album titled Iba with the special track ‘Abode Mecca’ in 1980.
His most successful album Talazo ’84 in 1984 and he went on to win many titles and several music awards.
He, however, displayed his right to bear Oluaye of Fuji, when at the age of 64 years, released a single track, Ade Ori Okin, went to become hit.
