Mixed reactions have trailed billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola’s forthcoming 60th birthday celebration.

Freelanews reported earlier that the Femi Otedola was set to host an extravagant 60th birthday celebration.

Femi Otedola had spent 3 million pounds, which is about a 2.2billion naira to rent Aristotle Onassis’ Christina O super luxury yacht ahead of his 60th birthday.

Freelanews reports that in celebration of his 60th birthday which holds this Friday, November 4th, the astute businessman and Chairman of Geregu, rented the super yacht.

Otedola was filmed entering the yacht with his family and son-in-law-to-be, Mr. Eazi, this afternoon.

Many are having a field day reacting to the news. While some cheered on him to live his best life, others faulted him for being insensitive to Davido’s son’s death.

One of the commenters queried why he would be celebrating his birthday on water, knowing well that Davido lost his first son by drowning.

Identified as Fair pantherlol, he wrote, “As he is richer than David nobody is gonna say how dare you celebrate your birthday on water when Ifeanyi died inside water.”

Another user identified as Sweetlikecupcake wrote, “Where are those people saying people shouldn’t move on because Ifeanyi is dead. Oya food is ready”
