Juventus are set to sack head coach Igor Tudor after a poor run of results, with Massimo Brambilla tipped to take interim charge

Juventus are reportedly preparing to part ways with head coach Igor Tudor following a string of disappointing performances that have left the club struggling in Serie A.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano was the first to reveal that the club was “on the verge of sacking Tudor” after a poor run of games, adding that steps toward appointing a new manager were already underway.

Subsequent reports indicate that the Juventus board has now made the decision to relieve Tudor of his duties, with Massimo Brambilla expected to take over as interim head coach.

The Croatian tactician, who previously enjoyed a successful playing spell in Turin, took charge of the team in March 2025, replacing Thiago Motta during a tense Champions League qualification battle.

Although Tudor’s arrival initially sparked optimism, Juventus have since gone eight matches without a win, including a 2–0 loss to Lazio over the weekend — a result that leaves them eighth in the table, eight points adrift of the top four.

Reports suggest that several players struggled to adapt to Tudor’s intense and confrontational coaching style, which had previously earned him success at Hajduk Split.

Morale within the dressing room is said to have dipped, with Dusan Vlahovic managing just two goals this season and Manuel Locatelli struggling to impose himself in midfield.

Despite club director Cristiano Giuntoli’s recent public show of support, the Juventus hierarchy has reportedly reached a unanimous decision to dismiss Tudor in an attempt to rescue the campaign.

Massimo Brambilla, currently overseeing Juventus Next Gen (the club’s reserve team), is expected to step in temporarily while the board considers long-term options.

Juventus will next face Udinese, hoping for a much-needed turnaround under new management as pressure mounts both on and off the pitch.
