In a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze during an Instagram live session, Blackface spoke about his intention to revive the legendary group in 2024 and shed light on his role in its formation.

According to Blackface, he was the driving force behind the creation of Plantashun Boiz and revealed that he was the one who brought 2Baba into the fold before later adding Faze to the band.
“I’m the head of Plantashun Boiz, not 2Baba. I brought 2Baba to Plantashun Boiz,” Blackface declared, clarifying the origins of the group and his instrumental role in its establishment.
He also shared how he coined the name “Plantashun Boiz,” adding a personal touch to the group’s legacy.
