Blackface Claims Plantashun Boiz Ownership

Singer Blackface asserts his leadership role in Plantashun Boiz, claiming he founded the group with 2Baba and Faze and plans a 2024 comeback.

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]igerian singer Blackface has boldly asserted that he is the rightful owner and leader of the iconic music group Plantashun Boiz, which originally featured him, 2Face (now 2Baba), and Faze.

In a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze during an Instagram live session, Blackface spoke about his intention to revive the legendary group in 2024 and shed light on his role in its formation.

According to Blackface, he was the driving force behind the creation of Plantashun Boiz and revealed that he was the one who brought 2Baba into the fold before later adding Faze to the band.

“I’m the head of Plantashun Boiz, not 2Baba. I brought 2Baba to Plantashun Boiz,” Blackface declared, clarifying the origins of the group and his instrumental role in its establishment.

He also shared how he coined the name “Plantashun Boiz,” adding a personal touch to the group’s legacy.

His comments have sparked renewed interest in the group’s history, as fans recall the memorable impact the trio had on Nigerian music in the early 2000s.

Blackface’s claim has stirred conversations within the Nigerian music industry, with some fans supporting his position while others debate the contributions of all three members to the group’s success.

The announcement of a potential 2024 reunion has excited fans, eager to see the original members come together once again.
