The Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate in the last election, Atiku Abubakar, has instituted a law suit against Presidential Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, for libel.

The former Vice President and his counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, OFR, were physically at the High Court, Maitama, Abuja, registry to sign his witness deposition (on Oath) before the Commissioner for Oaths, on the case he instituted against Onochie.

The Waziri of Adamawa is claiming amongst others, the sum of N2.5 billion only, from the Presidential Assistant on Social Media, as general, aggravated, punitive and exemplary damages against her.
