Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has finally dragged the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, and Nigerian president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to court over election irregularities.
Recall that Freelanews reports that the former Governor of Anambra State lost his presidential bid to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu..
Not satisfied with the result by coming third, Obi and his party is seeking to obtain the documents that INEC used for the election.
Also joined as respondent the ruling party, the All Progressives Party.
The applicants claimed that the election was rigged in favour of the APC candidate.
