The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under President Goodluck Jonathan, had the cross of The Chibok Girls around its neck till it was humiliated out of office. Civil Society organisations in the country and their leaders ensured that Jonathan never had a day of rest about the kidnapped Chibok Girls.
Currently, the number of civilians killed in the wars going on in Northern Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari appears unprecedented since 1999 that the country returned to civil rule. And, these killings are not about to stop or be stopped. Unfortunately, majority of those who led the media onslaught against Jonathan and PDP are either members of APC today or sympathisers of the ruling Party.
I firmly believe in the eternal words of Ifa that these killings will continue. The Voice of God, which Ifa represents, also confirmed way back that the killings will move down South. Buhari appears incompetent to rein in the murderous hordes, who have also killed in his home state of Katsina. So, to son of man, it is not as if these killings are taking place in the 5% areas he could not be bothered about.
But this man of God’s appeal is to the National Leaders of the ruling Party to assist Mr. President. Buhari needs help. And, the earlier this gets to him, the better for Nigeria, West Africa and indeed parts of Central Africa close to us. The economy is terrible. There is serious hunger in the land. We have millions of able-bodied young men and women, who do not have jobs. They can be made available for negative causes by the enemies of our land.
It is not about APC losing the 2023 presidential election. That is not likely at all, as there is no viable opposition in the horizon. But this appeal is about things getting out of hand. Nobody, even among our army of ‘Prophets’ saw the #Endsars protests coming. If refugees and residents around where these killings are taking place had joined the last protests, it is possible that the UN’s Blue Helmets would have started work in Nigeria by now.
APC Leaders need to help Mr. President. He has failed on the economy. He has failed against insecurity. Without a modicum of success concerning these two, we might be looking at Somalia of the early 1990s. Make una do something, nitori Olorun!!
