The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senator representing Ekiti South senatorial district, Biodun Olujimi, has allegedly sent threat messages to WazobiaReporters for publishing the press statement from her predecessor, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, accusing the state governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of aiding her (Olujimi) return to the senate to stop him (Adeyeye) from contesting the 2022 governorship election in the state.
Adeyeye had said today, through his Special Assistant on Media, Ayo Arotolu, that “The unholy alliance between Fayemi and Olujimi will be made public soon and Ekiti people who are already aware of the fact of the unholy marriage will judge appropriately.”
While giving a hint on how he lost at the tribunal, Adeyeye said; “No sooner had the case commenced before the tribunal than the Commissioner for Justice of Ekiti State, Mr Wale Fapounda, boasted before all that cared that Adeyeye will be removed from senate because according him he was nursing a gubernatorial ambition a post promised and reserved for him by Mr. Governor.”

Apparently unhappy with the report, Olujimi, instead of debunking Adeyeye’s claims opted to sending threat messages to the email address of WazobiaReporters via her email address biodun_olujimi@yahoo.com.
One of Olujimi’s messages read; “Your medium is owned by a cartified (sic) liar and bootlicker. You publish falsehood to suit Lere Olayinka. Your survival is only a matter of time. Your platform will soon pass away unless u break the shackles of slavery and deep falsehood.”
Olujimi has been having a running battle with the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, over the control of the PDP in the State, with Fayose having an edge, having produced the party ward and local council executives in 14 out of the 16 local governments in the state with congresses yet to be done in Gbonyin and Ekiti East local governments.
Fayose is also in control of the state executives.
“No wonder nemesis is catching up on her in an attempt to supplant her benefactor and leader in her quest to hold PDP by the jugular from the firm grip of Fayose,” Adeyeye had mocked Olujimi in the statement released today.
