‘Check on your daughters!’ Nigerian ladies going naked on TikTok over new filter (Videos)

TikTok has continued to dominate the social media video segment, dethroning Google and savagely hitting Facebook underbelly.

The video sharing app is well known for its new and aesthetic filters and the new Rotoscope filter, which is the recent update, is one of them.

This new effect can turn the real face and body of the user into the yellow and green colored anime character, which looks fantastic and funny. It was fun trying out the filter until people worldwide decided to make a trend out of it.

As usual, Nigerian ladies are not left out.

A search of Rotoscope on TikTok has revealed how many young Nigerian ladies are jumping on the trend to amass followership and likes.

When the filter is selected, a fully dressed lady dances for a few seconds and waits for the filter to be activated. Once this is done, the lady undresses under the multicoloured anime character dancing, leaving nothing to imagination, like the videos below.

And with imagination running wild, the hunt for ways to reverse the filter are also on. Many users are looking for a way to remove Rotoscope Filter on TikTok videos.

However, you can remove Rotoscope filter from your saved TikTok videos, but there is no way to remove Rotoscope from someone else’s TikTok videos on iOS or Android. There is no third-party app or trick to remove Rotoscope on someone’s TikTok videos.

Even if you are using an Android phone, there is no APK or mode file to delete Rotoscope from TikTok video recorded and posted. If you found any trick to removing Rotoscope Filter on the TikTok video, please share with us in the comment box.

To activate the filter, follow the below step:

  • Open TikTok and tap on Discover
  • Using the search bar lookup for “Rotoscope”
  • Select Rotoscope under Effects
  • Tap on the ‘Try this effect’ option
  • Click on record and film yourself
  • Please note: You need to nod your head in order to activate the filter.

To remove the Rotoscope filter, here’s what you need to do:

  • You need to record a TikTok of yourself with the Rotoscope filter on.
  • Once the video is paused, click on Effects and select the cancel icon on the left.
  • The filter will be removed from the respective video.

Do remember to place your camera at a distance so that your entire body is captured in the frame as the filter doesn’t work if the camera is too close to you or if it only focuses on your face.

Many social commentators frown at the use here by most Nigerian young ladies.

According to a psychologist and therapist, Tolu Medebem, who spoke with Freelanews, parents really need to look out for their children, both male and female, and give them close monitoring.

“I remember how our parents used to feed us with words we would always remember even when we’re not with them those days.

“They trained us to a certain level and then released us with words like remember the child of who you are, it is up to a dancing masquerade’s child to learn how to dance on her own. Statements like these stayed with us for a long time and molded quite a lot of people today. That is not to say that we didn’t have some of us getting out of line but it’s becoming unforgiving now because of social media.

“So parents can only do the best they could and leave the rest to God. But we also need to look into the people that are calling themselves parents at the moment. You can only give what you have,” she explained.

A mother of three grown girls herself, Medebem believed parenting plays a huge role in what the children become despite the unrestricted exposure to social media.

“I do TikTok challenges with my kids, so I know what we are talking about here.

“This is where parenting plays a major role. And when you’ve trained them to the point you’re able to leave them alone, you then commit them in the hands of the almighty God.

“If they are well trained in there formative years and with fear of God, then you dont have to be there or worry about their morals for the general good of the society,” she concluded.
