Ijebu

A popular comic actor, Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, has allegedly joined the league of responsible men with two wives as he headed down to Okene, in Kogi State to tie knot with his sweetheart.

However, the wedding, which took place today, has started generating reactions as some Nigerians claimed it may not be real because Ijebu is already married to Opeyemi Popoola.

Olatayo known for his distinct Ijebu dialect which earned him the acronym “ijebu” has fathered four children with Opeyemi.

While some were congratulating him, others were quick to point out that the wedding was not real and the images were taken on a movie set.

Ijebu, who is also a movie producer, was born on May 5, 1979 in Ilisan Remo, Ogun state and had obtained a National diploma in Mass Communication at Ibadan polytechnic.

He is known for his comic roles in most Yoruba movies having being introduced into acting through Muyiwa Ademola Authentic School of Drama.

He worked as a personal assistant to Olaniyi Afonja aka Sanyeri before he came to limelight with the film Muniru and Ambali produced by Tayo Amokade himself, written by Sanyeri and marketed by Adekaz productions.

Ever since then, he has been a sensation to watch most especially for his movies like “Ore meta were kan” and “Jungunu”.

See the controversial wedding pictures below.
