Nigerian music star and record label owner, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has joined the heated football debate on who is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The ‘Electricity’ crooner, who made headlines with his performance at the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards, while commenting on the topic, picked Portuguese international, Ronaldo ahead of his Argentine counterpart, Messi.

Davido also professed love for the two superstars, but added that he prefers Ronaldo because he is very disciplined like him.

He said, “Cristiano for me, you know, what outcomes, very, very disciplined,

“I am a very, very disciplined person, you know, and to have that kind of success and to be so disciplined at the same time is something I’ve always admired about him.

“I like both of them. But, I personally, I’m a Ronaldo guy.”

The DMW boss went on to label Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka as his favourite young footballer.

Meanwhile, Messi is the favourite to win this year’s Ballon d’Or award for a record-extending eighth time, while Ronaldo has won it seven times but did not make the 30-man shortlist this time around.
