Senator Adams Oshiomhole (APC-Edo-North) has distributed 11,000 bags of rice to residents of his senatorial district in celebration of Christmas.
The rice, which includes 10kg, 25kg, and 50kg bags, was shared across the six local government areas in Edo-North as part of his efforts to alleviate hardship for constituents.
During the distribution on Wednesday, Oshiomhole emphasized that the rice was meant for all residents, not just party supporters, encouraging local groups such as mechanics, tailors, and vigilante members to benefit from the gesture.
He expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the community, pledging to continue his leadership and work towards the betterment of Afemai land.
Acknowledging the tough economic conditions, Oshiomhole urged Nigerians to remain patient with the government, assuring them that things would improve in the future. He concluded by wishing all constituents a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
