Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, the founder of Mount Zion Ministries has stirred mixed reactions with his message to women from broken marriage.

Taking to his Instagram page, the clergyman warned those from broken marriage to avoid advising the single ladies.

He told them to stop teaching them not to respect the marriage institution.

His message has been met with mixed reactions. While some agreed with me, others disagreed with his statement.

“If you have got a Broken Marriage, don’t ever advise the Single Ladies not to respect the Marriage institution”.

Mike Bamiloye’s message to wives

Evangelist Mike Bamiloye had said a wife trying to usurp her husband’s God-given authority wad working for the devil.

This was as he listed instances that showed a women’s disregard for the law of God concerning the institution of marriage.

According to him, a woman who lives in disregard of the law of God will not make heaven.

Bamiloye wrote, “When a woman chooses to be arrogant, proud and unsubmissive to her husband, she has broken the commandment of the Lord, which demanded from her to respect her husband and be submissive to him, as the Head, just as the Church does to Christ.

“When a woman chooses to punish a man by denying him access to her body, when the Bible says a wife should not do so in I Corinthians 7, she had broken the Commandment of the Lord and sinned against God.

“When a woman is trying to be the head of the home when God says it is the spiritual role of the man, but trying to take over the control of the home, demanding that whatever she says must be done, turning the husband to a puppet; such woman has flagrantly discarded the law of the Most High God by disrespecting and dishonoring her husband. Georgina Onuoha slams Mike Bamiloye

Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha had slammed Pastor Mike Bamiloye for advising women not to join feminism.

The clergy in a social media post advised single ladies to avoid joining the feminism movement as they will miss God’s purpose for their life.

Also advising the married, the clergy said, the quest for feminism will not make them get the best out of their marriage as they will be contesting the home’s head.

However, displeased with the statement, Georgina Onuoha took to social media to lambast the clergy, saying he has indirectly enjoined feminism due to his wife’s role in their movie ministry.

The actress wrote: These are the kind of teachings and preaching from men of God that are suppose to be spiritual leaders are teaching Nigerians, yet we wonder why women in Nigeria are seen as commodities, properties and are constantly abused by the society.

Yet this same pastor has enjoyed the dividends of feminism because we all watched his wife growing up as a part of his ministry.

I hope someone tells him that his wife being able to have a voice and be part of his production is the textbook definition of feminism.

I pray he understands that his daughters are as important as his sons and as such should be treated equally and accordingly”. Read more here.
