Ogala, known for her work in Nigerian cinema, recounted harrowing experiences from her youth, describing herself as extremely stubborn and fortunate to have survived multiple life-threatening situations.
“I am the definition of stubborn. I have jumped from the roof to the bush, and God kept me alive. I have slept with two dead bodies inside the room, and I could be killed the next day. But God said, ‘It’s not my time.’ I still have work to do for God,” she said.
The actress highlighted the pivotal role her mother has played throughout her life, describing her as a constant source of support and love.
She paid tribute to her mother, saying, “If God hasn’t condemned you, nobody can; if He hasn’t written you off, nobody can. Today I stand, and I say glory be to God… My mother means a lot to me. Many condemned me, but my mother will never condemn me. God has given her to me; she is my hero, and I love her so much.”
Ogala also referenced her belief that her survival serves a greater purpose, asserting that God’s plan has guided her through trials and challenges.
The service took a dramatic turn when Ogala brought forward a woman she alleged had been involved in a staged testimony orchestrated by Pastor Chris Okafor, sparking reactions among congregants and online discussions.
