Dr Oduntan’s vast experience, which includes his roles as Group Managing Director of several agricultural firms, such as Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited and natnudO Foods, positions him well for this role.
He previously served as National President of the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), demonstrating his dedication to the industry.
Upon his election, Dr Oduntan expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to tackling the pressing challenges within the industry.
He emphasised the importance of collaboration and innovation to create a more resilient and efficient feed production ecosystem.
He plans to form strategic alliances with organisations like the Maize Association of Nigeria (MAAN) and the Nigeria Soybean Association to enhance supply chains and improve raw material access.
FIPAN, which generates $2 to $3 billion annually, represents stakeholders such as feed millers, raw material producers, and equipment suppliers.
Under Dr Oduntan’s leadership, FIPAN will continue to unify the industry, focusing on production quality, supply chain security, and sustainable practices.
He succeeds Mr Raymond Isiadinso, whose presidency made significant progress in advocacy and member engagement.
