Accompanied by two female EFCC officers, Achimugu arrived at the court premises at approximately 11:35 am.

This development follows a recent order by Justice Inyang Ekwo on Monday, which directed Achimugu, who was alleged to have fled the country, to appear before the EFCC by Tuesday at noon.

Justice Ekwo’s ruling also mandated the EFCC to bring Achimugu to court for a report on Wednesday upon her appearance at their office.

Justice Inyang Ekwo ordered the EFCC, upon the appearance of Achimugu at its office, to return with her to court on Wednesday for report.

However, reports indicate that instead of appearing voluntarily, Achimugu was apprehended by EFCC operatives upon her arrival from abroad at around 5 am and subsequently held in custody.

The presence of Achimugu in court today signifies a step forward in the legal proceedings initiated by the EFCC.
