The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has held the 11th edition of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Ibadan, Oyo State with the theme “Ignite Possibilities 2024”.

The event took place between Friday 12th July and Sunday 14th July at Golden Tulip Ibadan Quarter 781, GRA, Jericho, Ibadan.

As part of its ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry, EXMAN engaged students at the University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Arts, particularly those studying Communications, to ignite their passion for and understanding of experiential marketing.

Tolulope Medebem, EXMAN President, set the tone for the session by articulating the association’s vision to nurture talent within the sector.

She emphasized the importance of such engagements in shaping the industry’s future workforce by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

The programme featured a lineup of distinguished experiential marketing experts, including Wole Olagundoye, Managing Director of Outori Limited; Abiodun Oshinibosi, Field Marshal of Abelinis Limited; and Nana Milagrosa, MD/CEO of MPXM, who shared their insights and experiences.

Other activities during the two-day event included the induction of new members, an enlightening session with the Director General of ARCON, Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, a comprehensive end-of-year report by the association’s executives, and a fun-filled gala dinner where members serenaded each other.

EXMAN is the sectoral trade body for forward-looking experiential marketing communications and activation agencies in Nigeria, employing over 25,000 contract and part-time field activation personnel on behalf of brands.
