[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he family of a woman has filed a petition with the Ijebu Ode Area Command of the Ogun State Police Command, seeking justice for an alleged multiple rape incident involving Pastor Samuel Ajinde in the Igbeba area.
According to the victim, the ordeal began in 2020 when her mother advised her to consult with Ajinde, who is both her pastor and a doctor, regarding back pain.

Upon visiting Ajinde’s private hospital, the young woman claims that he conducted a medical examination that led to sexual intercourse.
The cleric allegedly threatened her, warning that if she revealed the incident to her mother, he would kill her.
The victim recounted, “Sometime in 2020, I went to Samuel’s office for a medical check-up. I was 18 years old at the time. He asked me to lie down and started pressing my body, eventually having canal knowledge of me.
He claimed that the Holy Spirit told him that by sleeping with me, my back pains would disappear.”
The sexual assaults reportedly continued, resulting in multiple pregnancies, all of which were allegedly terminated by Ajinde. The victim stated, “He has aborted seven pregnancies for me by himself.”
The situation escalated in 2023 when she became pregnant again but refused to terminate the pregnancy, eventually giving birth to a boy.
The young woman further alleged that Ajinde has since resorted to threats against her and her newborn, insisting that she aborts any future pregnancies.
“In July 2023, I was pregnant again, and he asked me to abort it. I refused and eventually had a baby boy for him. He has threatened to kill me and my son, as well as my mother,” she said in her petition.
Compounding the trauma, Ajinde allegedly enlisted church members to defame the victim on social media platforms, including TikTok, by posting pictures of her and her child.
The victim expressed her desperation, stating, “I have tried to commit suicide several times. I was a virgin when I met him. I want you to use your good offices to intervene in this matter.”
Tomiwa Adeboye, the victim’s sister, voiced the family’s anguish and frustration over the pastor’s refusal to take responsibility for his actions.
“We have tried our best to ensure that the pastor takes responsibility for his actions, but he has refused and is threatening us,” she stated, urging law enforcement to ensure justice is served.
When contacted for a comment, Pastor Ajinde dismissed the allegations as “stupid” and refused to engage further, saying, “Why are you calling for such a stupid accusation? You don’t have to call me.”
In response to inquiries about the case, Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, stated that she was not aware of the incident. “I don’t know anything about this,” she said during a telephone conversation.
As the investigation unfolds, the family remains hopeful for justice and accountability in what they describe as a traumatic and life-altering situation for the victim.
