Fatima Buhari claims her father’s signature was forged on official documents during his presidency, according to a new biography by Charles Omole
Fatima Buhari, daughter of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, has alleged that her father’s signature was forged on official documents during his tenure, as detailed in the biography From Soldier to Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari, authored by Charles Omole.

Fatima Buhari, a forensic auditor, said she examined several official documents and presented her father with examples of signatures that had been falsified.
The biography notes that others had also raised concerns over forged signatures during President Buhari’s administration.
She clarified that such forgery was not unique to her father’s tenure, pointing out that similar issues had occurred under previous governments.
