Femi Fani-Kayode warns against removing Tinubu

Femi Fani-Kayode warns against removing Tinubu in 2027, invoking divine retribution and declaring the president’s reforms unstoppable

In a strongly worded statement posted on his official X handle on Wednesday, the former Minister of Aviation and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain invoked biblical scripture, insisting that political opponents plotting against Tinubu’s second term would be “scattered and crushed by the East Wind of destruction.”

Quoting from the Bible, he wrote: “Surely they shall gather but it shall not be of me. Whosoever gathers against thee shall be scattered for thy sake!”

Fani-Kayode dismissed speculation around Tinubu’s re-election prospects, describing the opposition’s ambitions as “lofty dreams and vain ambitions” that would “melt away like an iceberg approaching the tropics.”

“The Sword of the Lord shall cut them down and the Lord of Hosts shall dash them to pieces,” he added, stressing that nothing could halt what he termed the “wind of reformation and change” blowing through Nigeria.

According to him, Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda is irreversible and will reach full manifestation by 2031. “To God be the glory: there is no turning back,” he declared.

His remarks come amid mounting political manoeuvres ahead of the 2027 general election, with opposition figures beginning to position themselves for a possible challenge to the incumbent.
