Fesojoye of Ile-Ife praises Ooni Ogunwusi’s decade of unity and cultural revival, commending his visionary and inspiring leadership
The Fesojoye of Ile-Ife and Senator of the Federal Republic, Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, has praised His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Babatunde Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for a decade marked by unity, peace, and cultural revival across the Yoruba nation.
In a goodwill message to celebrate the Ooni’s 10th coronation anniversary, Otunba Daniel congratulated the monarch for his visionary leadership that has rekindled the splendour, dignity, and pride of Yoruba heritage.
The Fesojoye of Ile-Ife praised Ooni Ogunwusi for embodying wisdom, unity, and modern cultural renaissance through his active promotion of African fashion, indigenous spirituality, and tourism. He said the Ooni’s reign has successfully balanced tradition and modernity while preserving the sacred values of the Yoruba people.
The former governor of Ogun State stated that the Ooni’s reign has illuminated paths of peace, progress, and purpose not only for the Yoruba nation but also for humanity at large.
He commended the monarch’s commitment to youth empowerment, women inclusion, and interfaith harmony, describing it as a testament to divine guidance and noble leadership.
“As your loyal son and the Fesojoye of this hallowed land, I remain proud to identify with your glorious reign,” the lawmaker affirmed.
“May the Almighty continue to grant Your Imperial Majesty strength, long life, and divine wisdom to further elevate Ile-Ife and the Yoruba race.”
