Amarachi Ugochukwu, a female member of staff of a new generation commercial bank, Globus Bank, has been declared dead in what looked like a suicide inside the toilet of the bank in Ikorodu.

According to reports, the lady had left her phone on her table, and the phone kept ringing without answer. As a result, her colleagues started looking for her in the cause of searching for her.
One of the office toilet doors was noticed to have been locked from behind and was forcefully opened, and behold was her motionless body with an empty medium-sized Sniper bottle suspected to have been taken by her,” a source informed.
It was also gathered that the deceased left a note in a diary on her table before she allegedly took her life.
She wrote what was described as a ‘suicide note’ in the said diary.
“Nothing is working in my life. My figures are low. My brain is cloged up. The economy is getting harder. My decisions are wrong. My mind is messed up. The future doesn’t seem bright at all, I see extreme hardship. I can’t bear the pain anymore.

“I’m sorry mum, I’m sorry dad, I’m sorry Meme, Okwe, Toto Nazor, Chuchu, Ifunanya. Lord, have mercy on me!” she wrote inside her diary under the date January 3, 2024.
Upon sighting her on the floor of the toilet, the management of the branch immediately called a medical doctor who confirmed her dead.

However, the matter has been reported to the police in Ikorodu, and an investigation into the incident is said to have commenced immediately.
Also, it was gathered that the police have removed the corpse and deposited it at Ikorodu General Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
Her family has been informed of the tragic incident.
