Glo’s network upgrade wins praise nationwide as subscribers report faster data, clearer calls, and greater service reliability across Nigeria

Glo’s network upgrade is being widely celebrated by subscribers across Nigeria, following noticeable improvements in call clarity, data speed, and overall reliability.

The telecommunications giant Globacom appears to be reaping the rewards of recent infrastructure investments, with customers hailing the progress from major cities to rural communities.

From Ogbomosho to Abuja, Lagos to Port Harcourt, users shared glowing reviews of their recent experiences on the Glo network.

Mr. Godwin Oghardandukun Oteoritse from Ogbomosho highlighted better voice call quality and faster data, echoing the views of fellow resident Olarije Balogun, who emphasized the network’s new-found stability.

In Asokoro, Abuja, Esther Atanze noted a drastic network improvement, praising Glo’s responsiveness to customer needs. Likewise, Mary John from Kubwa called the recent upgrade a game-changer:

“Browsing has become very smooth. I make video calls, and they go smoothly too. Keep up the good job, Glo,” she said.

In Lagos Island, Mr. Sani Sunday rated Glo’s voice and data services 10 out of 10. “It works very well for calls,” he said, praising the improved internet performance.

Meanwhile, Mr. Leke Okufuna, a US-based entrepreneur with operations near Ibadan, revealed he purchased four Glo lines solely for powering CCTV due to superior data coverage:

“I plan to buy one terabyte of data to power my CCTV for the year because I’m pleased with the Glo network,” he explained.

Mr. James Aondofa from Victoria Island applauded the network’s consistency.

After a successful SIM swap (Welcome Back), he reported lower call rates and a better browsing experience.

“Glo is truly everywhere. I’ve used almost every network in Nigeria, but I moved all my internet services to Glo. It’s been excellent since then,” he said.

In Port Harcourt, Paul Ije from Abuloma described the improvement as “remarkable”, noting stronger signal strength, clearer calls, and faster internet speeds.

In Benin, multiple residents like Emmanuel Omondiale, Patrick Osayimwe, and Umelo Iyobosa shared similar sentiments, confirming enhanced voice and data experiences across Airport Road, 2nd Ugbor, and Sapele Road.

From Costain in Lagos Mainland, Stephanie Ifeatu said she relies on Glo daily, and in Mpape, Abuja, Biodun Ibrahim declared:

“Now, it is super good — data is fast and voice is perfect. I advise Nigerians to start using Glo network because it is the best today in terms of quality of experience.”

These testimonials represent the positive impact of Glo’s network upgrade—a result of continued investment in nationwide infrastructure.
