Come Saturday September 18, 2021, Renowned gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey and Wale Adenuga will join nine other gospel music acts to raise a total sum of N100 million for charities.

According to the Worship for Change organisation, Green Worship 3.0 will hold to support and raise awareness for the less privileged.

In a press conference chaired by Wale Adenuga, the Green Worship 3.0 will be held as a virtual event.

Adenuga said, “Green Worship 3.0 is a benefit concert organised to raise awareness and support for indigent children, orphans and children with special needs.”

He also revealed that the 2021 edition of the event, which will kick off at exactly 5pm West African Time, will have a total of 11 gospel acts performing and raising awareness.

“Artistes confirmed for this event are Matt Redman, Nathaniel Bassey, Noel Robinson, Efe Nathan, Laolu Gbenjo, Wale Adenuga, Folabi Nuel, Evans Ogboi, Purist Ogboi, Femi Okunuga, Ore Macaulay, David Omodunmiju and Angeloh,” Adenuga said.

Continuing, Adenuga said the beneficiaries of the proposed N100 million to be raised at the 2021 edition of Green Worship are Leprosy mission Nigeria, The Farid Centre, Minna, Irede Foundation, Godswill Orphanage, Ayingba.

“The Green Worship 3.0,” Adenuga further said has the theme “MORE WITH YOU”.

In 2020, Worship for Change presented cheques of N1 million each to Mission Enablers International, Pison Centre and Joy in Africa Foundation. These funds presented to these charities were channeled towards catering for the indigent and special needs children they care for.

The amount presented to the charities were proceeds from the Green Worship benefit concert held in June 2019.

Green Worship is an initiative of Worship for change which is committed to raising awareness and support for charities that care for indigent children, orphans and children with special needs.
