Leading Lagos-based real estate developer, Harmony Gardens & Estate Development Ltd, has partnered with the Federal Government of Nigeria to construct 1,000 modern duplexes at Lekki Aviation Town, a project under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at middle-income Nigerians, particularly those in the diaspora

This ambitious project is strategically located directly opposite the proposed Lekki International Airport.

This initiative is a key component of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and is specifically designed to cater to middle-income Nigerians, with a significant focus on those in the diaspora seeking to invest in sustainable and high-quality housing opportunities in their homeland.

The project is being financed by the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), underscoring the government’s commitment to facilitating access to homeownership for its citizens.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to perform the official groundbreaking ceremony on May 29, 2025. This event is expected to signify not only strong political will but also concrete action towards diaspora inclusion and the expansion of critical infrastructure in the Lekki axis.

Speaking on this significant collaboration, the Chairman of Harmony Gardens, Mogaji Wole Arisekola, confirmed a substantial investment of ₦106 billion into the FGN Harmony Partnership.

“The project, part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, is targeted at middle-income Nigerians in the diaspora seeking to invest in sustainable, high-quality housing back home,” statement.

The company’s Executive Managing Director, Hon. (Dr.) Abdullahi Saheed Mosadoluwa, widely known as The Lagos Landlord, is introducing an innovative Ibile Traditional Mortgage Scheme.

This groundbreaking plan will offer Nigerians both at home and abroad the opportunity to rent-to-own homes with a single-digit annual interest rate for a tenure of up to 20 years.

The envisioned Renewed Hope Estate will feature modern infrastructure, expansive green areas, high-grade finishes, advanced security systems, and effective drainage networks, setting a new benchmark for residential developments in the Lagos metropolis.

Furthermore, the project is projected to generate over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, providing a significant boost to the construction and logistics sectors.

Harmony Gardens has consistently solidified its position as a leading premium developer in Nigeria, currently overseeing the development of seven prestigious estates.

These include GranVille Estate, The Parliament, Majestic Bay, Harmony Casa, and the flagship Lekki Aviation Town, collectively known as the Seven Citadel of Joy.
