Ahead of the primary elections of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the leading aspirant for the Shomolu Federal Constituency, Hon. Olowu Oluwaseyi has urged Lagosians to vote for people with cognitive legislative experience for the House of Reps seat.

According to him, the Green chamber is driven by experience and not a place for on-the-job training, but for people that have cognitive experience in the country’s legislative business.

“If given the opportunity, I’ll not disappoint my constituents,” he said.

Oluwaseyi, who has assisted in small-scale businesses for the people of Shomolu, and also has given over 500 scholarship to students from Nursery 1 to SS3 said this while speaking to the media.

The aspirant, while soliciting the support of his constituents, advised them to shun all forms of violence, thuggery, and other anti-social vices that could impinge the development of the constituency in particular and the state in general.

He also stated that he would deliver dividends of democracy to his constituents, adding that he is someone with a multidisciplinary background and will use it to the advantage of the people.

While urging the party to remain neutral in coordinating the primaries, he said, “My only advice for the party is for the leadership to provide a level playing ground for all aspirants bearing in mind those who will win the general election.”

While expressing concern over what he intends to do for his constituents, Olowu said he would push for projects that facilitate the enhancement of health, education, security, and infrastructure available to his constituents.

He opined that electorates in the state should vote for an individual that is dynamic and vibrant with a specific interest in what will benefit the people of Shomolu.

The House of Reps aspirant who is popularly called Owo Chicago noted that he is qualified to lead the people and would deploy his international exposure to attract development to the district, adding that the party delegates should vote for him at the primaries slated for Sunday, May 22, 2022.

“I want to represent Shomolu at the Green Chambers because I believe, and my people do too, that I have all the qualities required of a good representative and we don’t want our community denied this advantage of adequate and proper representation.

“I am eminently qualified. I am widely accepted and well-loved by the people for various reasons. I am neither an impromptu nor opportunistic aspirant. I am vastly experienced in management, diplomacy, and organizational leadership. I am well exposed internationally and above all, I am a responsible person.

“I also urge and appeal to our party delegates to vote for me at the forthcoming primaries slated for Sunday, May 22, 2022,” he said.

Oluwaseyi attended Omoleye Primary School before he proceeded to CMS Grammar School and then Ilupeju College. He studied in Statistics at the University of Ibadan and Education Admin at the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG).
